Remove two screws on center console cover plate and lift up as shown

Insert drinkholder so that the two metal clips are over the edge

Slide the 2 clips onto the metal bar as far as possible towards the edge of the consol

Close console and replace the screws. Thats it, you're finished!
NOTE: DELOREAN WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
The installation is the same way EXCEPT that with the automatic,the shift plate does NOT lift up high enough to make the easy insertion of the brackets.
You must REMOVE THE HANDLE OF THE SHIFTER to allow the plate to be lifted up high enough to insert the brackets.
To remove the handle of the shifter, put the shifter in the lowest gear so that you can get to the screw on the front side of the shifter handle that holds the plastic handle. Once you remove the shift handle, the shift plate will lift up high enough to insert the drinkholder brackets.
