No alterations!

Place double holder in the center console and attach wth the adhesive pads in the center console, you may want to cut the center area of it or remove it so adhesive pads can stick better.

NOTE: 1990 & 1991 Models can only use the upright door because of the Roll-Top box in the center console.
ABOUT THE ROLL-TOP BOX IN THE CENTER CONSOLE:
Some Mercedes owners have removed the Roll-Top box in the center console (only held with two screws), and then they have enough room for the Flat Double Drinkholder.
You can put the stuff from the Roll-Top box into the map pockets, etc. If you are unsure as to how it will look, just take it out and see for yourself. Its very easy and only takes about 5 minutes.
